In four sessions you will be coached on various ways to work through marketing and leadership challenges while having the opportunity to expand your peer network with other attendees. We’ve designed a comprehensive curriculum to put you on the path to excellence in marketing strategy, planning, and leadership, increasing your overall depth of knowledge and helping you advance your career. 

Our exclusive four-month curriculum builds on the structure provided by the Unified Marketing System and insights from Leadership Brilliance.

The Unified Marketing System (UMS) is a framework for how to develop well-defined, coordinated, and consistent marketing strategies that go beyond using trendy tools and tactics to deliver desired results for employers. The authors of UMS have created a step-by-step guidebook and a variety of resources for managers and executives who have never had an organized approach to marketing in the business.

Leadership Brilliance is about having the resources you need to find a clear path to leadership success. This system was developed to help leaders learn more about themselves, the good and the bad, providing you with the appropriate insights to help navigate your role while having the skillset to manage others. The founders of Leadership Brilliance are passionate about providing professional development and growth for those who find themselves without meaningful support.

thursday, SEPTEMBER 28th

Kickoff / Peer Group + Curriculum / Networking Happy Hour 

TIME: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, Happy Hour 5:00 pm-6:30 pm

LOCATION: Venture X in Greenwood Village

This is the start of any marketing effort and this is where we will begin. In this session you will learn about setting marketing goals and mapping strategies for success. We’ll also cover the importance of identifying what exactly you’re trying to accomplish with your marketing, and outlining specific roles for your team in order to achieve that. 

Brilliant leaders embody the values that they promote, no matter who is watching. In this module we cover: setting a good example, owning your actions, the importance of being self-aware, and accountability.

thursday, OCTOBER 26th

Peer Group + Curriculum

TIME: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm 

LOCATION: Venture X in Greenwood Village

In this phase, you will learn how to define your audience/customers, not as you believe them to be, but as they actually are. You will gain a clearer picture of what your product or service can do to best meet the needs of potential customers, and you will learn how to appropriately fund your marketing objectives and why it is important. 

 

No matter how challenging the conversation, no matter how complicated the journey and its desired outcome, brilliant leaders make things easy-to-understand and approachable through effective communication. In this module we cover: having important conversations, clarifying vision, setting clear expectations and agreements, and the value of keeping things simple.

 

thursday, NOVEMBER 30th

Peer Group + Curriculum

TIME: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm 

LOCATION: Venture X in Greenwood Village

This phase is all about using effective communication to build bridges between your business and your audience. Here, we will cover the importance of creating and refining tools that will help convey your message clearly while also addressing your audience’s concerns, as well as how to make better connections with the people who buy your products and services.  

 

It’s important for leaders to have the ability to be either firm or flexible, depending on the situation. Brilliant leaders are able to recognize how to do that. In this module we cover: the ability to pivot, knowing when to hold the line, seeking to understand, situational awareness, and the importance of ongoing learning.

 

wednesday, DECEMBER 13th

Graduation / Peer Group + Curriculum / Networking Happy Hour 

TIME: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, Happy Hour 5:00 pm-6:30 pm

LOCATION: Venture X in Greenwood Village

This final phase of UMS is where all the preparation you’ve done gets put into practice. We’ll show you how to finalize tactics, messages, and metrics, and then execute your plan. Although this is the last phase, it’s not the end. You’ll see that the results of your work in this phase help to inform adjustments, and produce higher quality marketing going forward.

 

Every person on a team matters, and brilliant leaders understand that. In this module we cover: how to genuinely care about people, developing the next generation of leaders, being a supportive coach, using systems to hold people accountable, the value of company culture, the importance of trust, and creating health team dynamics.
